Casting

In order to make the film opening as effective as possible, I and my group decided to conform to some gender, race, and other significant stereotypes. This meant that we cast actors that would fit the description of a similar character, in an actual action film.

I and my group chose a guy named Aubrey, to play Ethan, as he is a tall white male, and share’s a resemblance to actors such as Tom Cruise, from Mission Impossible. Additionally, Aubrey has had experience in acting. We chose a person named Melisa, to play Melina, because she is an attractive Caucasian female, who can fit into the category of being a damsel in distress, in an action film. Melisa also has acting experience, and she takes A level drama, assuring I and my group, that she will be able to play her character quite well. Lastly, I and my group, chose two Turkish males, Unal & Baris, also in our collage, because we needed two thugs with a Turkish background, and since Unal & Baris were Turkish, this wasn't a problem, allowing me and my group to create an opening sequence, which is realistic to our planned narrative, in terms of the actors, and their fit with our desired characters.

Below are all four of the actor's release forms, allowing them to be in our film opening sequence, following the legal procedure that an actual film production would have to undergo.
